'Mango Salsa'

Mango Salsa

Came across this recipe while searching for Native foods. Sound real good!

4 mangos, peeled, seeded and diced

2 red bell peppers, seeded and julienned

4 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves

Juice from 2 limes

2 jalapeņo chili peppers, seeded and chopped

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients and toss well. Serve immediately.

Your suppose to serve it with grilled pork or beef.

Thanks for sharing that recipe. It looks like it would be very good. I am going to give it a try this week and see how it turns out.

Do you serve the salsa over the meat or as a side dish? Did you make the dish? I really don't like mixing fruit in my salsa but I guess I can try it. Thanks for sharing.

This sounds good! I have all of the ingredients on hand except the mango. I can go to the store and pick up the mango. I was trying to figure out something to cook for dinner.
