It would seem to me some tourists are not well informed on where to visit in Haiti. From my personal experience Labadee is a waste of time because Royal Caribean wants to control what goes on with their guest. As same when you visit Jamaica there are just some areas you cannot go outside of "Montego Bay" or "Sandals resort". Travelers need to understand when traveling to a foreign country do your research and inquire from possible native only they can make suitable recommendations. As for your questions The City of Cap-Haitian is a very beautiful place there are direct flights from Ft Lauderdale which can take you there. If you need some more info please let me know and I will do the research for you.

I don't think I like the idea of restrictions on where I can go or do on my vacation. I don't see the point in wasting money to be told what to do. Thanks for bringing that up I will definitely do my research.
