I think it's great that a social networking site can lead the search for the missing in Haiti. This is one of the more positive traits of social networking. The negative's and useless information well all know well. More positives please, on this type of media exercise.

That is good to know. Good thing that somehow a social networking manages to help people. Int he past few weeks, social networking sites in some places has been a tool in doing crimes by spying on people's wall posts and information. But still it is important that we know whom we are adding in our account and choose the people that we deal with, both online and not. Good day.

Facebook, as a social networking site, has been a perfect avenue for a lot of people to express their emotions.

What had happened in Haiti recently was really a great tragedy and affected a lot of people. Good thing that these people are able to create their own page in Facebook where they gone express their feelings for their loved ones affected by the earthquake in Haiti. I hope they can overcome this big challenge.

Social networking is great for finding people in serious (Haiti) and not so serious (finding friends int he club) ways. It's ironic that one of the biggest arguments about social media privacy and the lack of it is the frontrunner for assiting missing persons searches.

This is social networking at its finest. The Haiti earthquake took so many lives in one go that it destroyed so many hearts of the families of the victims of such tragedy. This only proves that there are still compassionate people out there willing to give their prayers and love to those who need it.

This only proves that the world is not as messed up as what some might think of it. It is only sad that something as tragic as this is needed for people to start to showing their compassionate side to their fellowmen.
