How long would i need on average to see Hawaii. I want to see the major islands and do it right. I was thinking about two weeks. Is that to long? Has anyone done this? Please let me know. :)

The thing about Hawaii is the roaches. LOL! I don't know what it is, but ten days seems to be the perfect amount of time. Then again, it's been a very long time since I've been to Hawaii. It could be better now. ;-)

My friend went for two weeks and said it wasn't enough time to see and do as many things as she wanted to. But she still came back very satisfied with her stay. So if i think you cannot do any longer than 2 weeks, two weeks should be just right :) Have fun! I'm jealous!

I've heard that it's also VERY EXPENSIVE. I can't imagine being there for two weeks. I have a family of 5 and geez I shudder to think how much that is going to cost me!!

It is very expensive in Hawaii. The cost of living there is extremely high. When I was little and went to Hawaii with my parents, they rented a condo for the ten days we were there. We shopped for groceries and lived there as normally as possible. It was still expensive, but it was the only way we could afford it.

I have not been, but my aunt and her family has been multiple times. They usually stay around two weeks. After two weeks with two little girls they are ready to get back home. If you could go with a spouse or just one friend I would suggest staying longer.

I have never been to Hawaii, but like most of us, want to go. If I were to go, I would stay no less than 2 weeks. I would hate to fly 8 hours (from where I live) only to have to go back 5 days later! Problem is saving the money to go, something always comes up.

I haven't been yet but I want to. I was thinking that two weeks is probably the longest I would be able to get away. I don't think anything less than that would be enough to see the majority of it. • Page 1 (Original Post) •
