What's the best way to surf when your vision is really bad? I'm always afraid of losing my contacts in the water.

Hi Surfer Chick!

I don't think you'll lose your contacts in the water. Use soft contacts and don't open your eyes under water.

I've surfed many times wearing my contacts! I'm seriously contemplating surgery.

I had a chance to go surfing and managed not to lose my contacts when I wiped out. I doubt if you will lose them.

I'm more of a diver than a surfer... but I know how to surf a little.

I wear contacts whenever I surf because my vision isn't good as before. I haven't lost a single one, so don't worry.

I wear contacts too and plan to do a little surfing this vacation. So I'm glad to know that I can surf with my contacts. Do you guys have any problem with the water drying out the contacts?

I don't know about surfing but my contacts tend to get dry when I go swimming. I started bringing my glasses and taking them off when I swim.
