Best Place for Honeymoons? Romantic Honeymoons from 4Weddings.comchar from denver -
Where did you go for your honeymoon? How was it? My fiance and I are trying to decide where to go and are completely stumped!

Foz do Iguacu, Brazil, which is a grand waterfall on the Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay border (you need to see it from both Argentina and Brazil) and then off the Rio.

DH and I took a five day four night cruise from Los Angeles to Ensenada Mexico. We had ports of call in Catalina and San Diego. We had the nicest time. We took the same cruise on our first anniversary.

Brad, that sounds fabulous! I'll have to look into the costs to travel there.TexasGal, that sounds so nice. I would love to return to wherever we go for our honeymoon again for our first anniversary :) I'm so excited!!

We did a tour package and it was under 2k for two and I think 8 nights. The tour guides by the waterfalls were extraordinary. The tour guides were regular. You'll have to get visas to enter Brazil but its worth the effort and cost. Here are some photos I found of the waterfalls on the Argentina side. I liked the Brazillan side better.

Wow TexasGal you got to go on your 1st anniversary too? That must have been really nice. I haven't taken that cruise yet, would like to though. My sister and her husband did that same cruise for their honeymoon and they had a great time.

That's a pretty decent price for 8 days full of fun! Does that price include the costs of visas as well? Thank you so much for the link. The waterfalls are something! I'll have to see what the Brazillian side looks like.

The visas were seperate, a bit expensive and easy to get. We got them in a bordering country and although Brazil said the special deal for Americans was the same deal the USA has for Brazil, ie: $100 for a visa (non refundable) with the current exchange it ended up closer to $150. Well worth it on two points: the visit the Brazil and someone standing up to the USA visa policies.

Caribbean Lover, one of my parents' family friends was a travel agent. She was at our wedding. She booked our honeymoon and got us upgraded and then upgraded again with our anniversary cruise. Valene passed a few years ago, sometime after our fourth anniversary, so I don't know whom M&D are using for travel now.I don't know what our next cruise will be, but I figure it will be for our tenth anniversary. We didn't even exchange cards or go out to dinner for our seventh. We were moving again (we moved from California to Texas over our sixth) and it just got away from us. Brad, if you already have a valid passport, isn't that enough?
