Has anyone ever takin one of these. The sound like it would be a very good trip. I found a link that has two ships that were built just for this kind of trip.www.cruiseweb.com/PRINCESS-PANAMACANAL.HTM

I'm not sure which cruise line my neighbors used but they just got back from a cruise of the Panama Canal. Boy they sure had a great time and plan on doing it again next year.

I have a grandmother that took a cruise through the Panama Cand they stopped a ton of places. They had a great time everywhere they went. The cruise lasted about 10 days. I suppose I would love to go, but I don't have the money right now for such an expensive trip.

I think the trick to get a good deal on a panama ccruise is to find a freighter than leaves Limon, Costa Rica that heads down and through the Cand then get off at its port of call on the other side. The passenger ships seem to have extremely high prices when they go through the Canal.

I've heard that these cruises are expensive as well. I don't know...something like that just doesn't appeal to me. I'd rather take a cruise to the Bahamas. • Page 1 (Original Post) •
