| Info about Ti KayeMy wife and I are planning our first trip to St. Lucia and are considering Ti Kaye Village. We have heard that there has been some theft and crime there - how is security? Has anyone been there recently? Also, are there many grifters/beggers around the hotel? We plan to stick around Ti Kaye for most of our trip (we need some relaxation), are there some good restaurants close by? It looks pretty secluded - is there anything else nearby? THanks for any help! |
#1Victoria, a wee island on Earth | Hi star123I stayed there for four nights before. It was about a year ago, but i did not have any problems with crime... I also did not see any beggars or anything lurking around at all. Maybe it has changed by now but when I visited, i really got nothing but relaxation! :) Also, to the north you will find Marigot Bay, one of the prettiest coves in the whole of the Caribbean, with a number of waterfront bars and places to eat. I really had an amazing time. I hope you do too! |
| The restaurant we loved to eat at was Kai Manje. We stayed at Ti Kaye village and I would recommend it to anyone. As far as other restaurants, I can't remember going out too much. It was a honeymoon so we stayed there the majority of the time. The beach is amazing and the land is very green. You will enjoy your time there for sure. Take lots of photos because it is a once in a lifetime experience! |
