Questions: Bad spider bite: what spider could this be?

Thank author of this post/commenti was about three years old in either the cayman islands or turks and caicos. i got bit by a spider while hiding behind a curtain in a hotel room. in the begining it looked like a mosquito bite. after a day of scratching it both of my legs became black blue and purple and i was paralyzed. after HEAVY dosages of medicine and my mothers prayers i got feeling back about 2 or 3 days later. my parents would have amputated had it not been for the medicine and luck. im very curious about what bit me that day because i have a big fear of spiders because of it. thank you
